Coexistence
Kooseksisteerimine - Puumade jälgedel
Thomas Julienne, a young biologist, embarks on a cycling expedition across Argentina and Chile to explore the complex relationship between sheep farmers and pumas - the great predators of Patagonia that sometimes prey on livestock. Along the way, he meets farmers and scientists, documenting innovative solutions that foster peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife. But Thomas’s journey through these vast, untamed landscapes goes far beyond scientific inquiry. Confronting snowstorms, fierce winds, and solitude, he experiences a profound personal adventure - one that celebrates freedom, resilience, and the spirit of exploration. Blending scientific documentary with adventure storytelling, this film offers a powerful reflection on humanity’s impact on nature and the importance of preserving large predators. It invites viewers to immerse themselves in the breathtaking wilderness of Patagonia while discovering tangible ways to live in harmony with the natural world.
