Supporting the next generation of nature advocates
Every year, hundreds of school students take part in MAFF’s education programme. We want the festival to become a natural meeting place for university students, emerging filmmakers, photographers, scientists and environmental professionals as well. This is where new ideas, collaborations and the next generation of nature storytellers are born.
Films, filmmakers, discussions, workshops and international guests offer opportunities to learn directly from leading professionals in the field.
We help educational institutions and student organisations plan their festival visits, find accommodation and coordinate participation. Together with our partners, we can organise special screenings for children and young people in different regions across Estonia, arrange school group visits to MAFF and, in the future, support emerging filmmakers through scholarships.
