"Blue Wings - The Secret life of the European Roller", tells the story of their turbulent adventures over the course of an entire breeding season, as they strive to raise a new family. Azur, the youngest chick in the brood, will have to show determination - and sometimes a touch of luck - in order to survive, grow, and reach adulthood. The European Roller is a rare species in France, with only around 1,500 breeding pairs, and it is notoriously difficult to observe. Carl Von Linné once wrote of it: “It is the most beautiful of all our birds.”
