The odonata – Dragonflies and Damselflies - inhabited our planet long before dinosaurs. They are among the world’s largest flying invertebrates. Near rivers and lakes in the summer, we meet slender bodied odonata, deep blue in color. These are Demoiselles. Along with other species, they too are trying to survive in a changing environment. In this film, we’ll witness the demoiselles’ circle of life from larva till death. We’ll learn about the dangers they face, how they fare when it comes to love, and how, finally, the next generation is set to sprout. We’ll be privy to exclusive underwater and on-water footage.
