The relationship between bees and flowering plants during pollination is mutually beneficial: the bee ensures the plant's reproduction while obtaining pollen to use as food. In this workshop, we will take a closer look at nectar-rich plants and their pollen. We will also attempt to identify pollen samples using a pollen pellet identification guide and examine pollen grains under a microscope. This workshop is supported by the Pollen Laboratory of the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
