In the workshop, participants create designs using colored sand on pre-prepared card bases.
We will talk about where sand is found, what it is used for, and why sand "sings"…
The instructor will also explain how she dyes the sand.
Making sand cards is suitable for everyone; even young children can easily manage the activity.
Each child or student can make one card for free. A card for an adult or an additional card for a child costs €2.
The workshop is led by Tiiu Jalakas, a graduate of the nature guide program at HKHK.
