Have you ever wondered how the forest actually works? Who lives among the trees, how
animals find their homes, and why everything in nature is interconnected?
The nature program "Secrets of Forest Life: Discover and Understand" invites students in grades 1–3
on a journey of discovery to learn about nature through firsthand experience. The program combines learning, play, and active engagement
in the natural environment.
During the program, students solve nature-inspired tasks and discover food chains and natural interconnections through play.
Various observation, movement, and creative activities help them understand how the forest functions as an ecosystem and what impact humans have on nature.
The workshop is conducted by students from the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy.
