Kasari River and water safety

24.09.2025 - 26.09.2025
Lihula kindergarten pond

In the workshop we will talk about water safety, how to spot potential dangers and how to behave responsibly and help someone in need if necessary? Do you know what fish live in the Kasari River and why this river is special in Estonia? Through fun activities and playful thinking, young people will learn interesting facts about the Kasari River and the fish that live there. At the end, participants will also receive a surprise “catch” with which we can share new knowledge. The workshop will be conducted by students of the Viljandi Cultural Academy of the University of Tartu.

Target group: 4th - 9th grade
