Do you long for an evening where music is as honest and natural as the landscapes of Matsalu?
For over four decades, Tõnu Timm (also known as Tõun) has enriched the Estonian music scene. Now he brings to Von Hauer a program that is at once bright, poetic, and deeply emotional.
Tõnu Timm is a multi-instrumentalist — guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, Weissenborn, mandolin, and banjo lend his sound a unique and unmistakable character. His music blends folk, world, and acoustic tones with contemporary nuances.
He has released several solo albums, including Tõun and Portselanist koerad, as well as the brand-new instrumental album Impossible Bottle (2025).
Living on the island of Muhu, Timm’s music carries a closeness to nature and a genuine melodic sensitivity.
