Energy without end: why does renewable energy matter?

Where does the electricity in your phone and the heat in your home come from? Will energy ever run out? In this workshop you will discover what renewable energy is and why it is key to the future. Through games, discussions and creative tasks you will learn the secrets of the sun, wind, water and other energy sources. Together we will explore how they affect the environment and our lives, and why it is worth thinking about greener choices today. At the end of the workshop you will know which energy would suit Estonia best – and maybe you will also find your favorite! The workshop will be conducted by students of the Viljandi Cultural Academy of the University of Tartu.
