Who among us has not tried to determine the age of a tree by counting the annual rings while sitting on a freshly sawn stump? During the workshop, it becomes clear that the inside of trees hides many more secrets than age. We will explore and drill: Can climate change be studied using trees? What do dendrochronology and dendroclimatology deal with? Does and how does climate change affect forests? Could forest management and wood use have an impact on climate change?
